Julian Stirpe

Julian Stirpe is a Toronto-based composer and audio engineer whose music has been shaping cinematic worlds for more than 16 years. Known for crafting scores that are as breathtaking as they are unsettling, Julian creates immersive sonic landscapes that pull audiences deep into the emotional core of every story he touches. His music doesn’t just accompany the picture—it lingers, haunts, and moves.

Julian’s artistic foundation began with a clarinet in his hands at a young age, igniting a passion for exploring sound in all forms. This early spark led him to master a wide range of instruments, including piano, classical guitar, drums, and an array of percussive instruments—each contributing to the rich, textured palette that defines his work today.

After formal studies in audio engineering and film composition at Harris Institute for the Arts, Julian launched a career that spans feature films, short films, apps, and commercial media. His most recent score, which gained theatrical release across North America "Dream Eater" stands as a career milestone—celebrated for its atmospheric intensity and its ability to elevate the film’s psychological depth. The soundtrack has been praised for its eerie beauty, its cinematic scope, and its ability to hold audiences in an emotional grip long after the credits roll.
